winter

winter has finally arrived! the cold temperatures had already appeared for a while (the water bottle in my car has been frozen for a couple of weeks), but now also the snow has finally fallen. wednesday was the coldest day so far: -23°C. this is not counting the wind factor they usually add here to make you feel even colder…
this year, we are equipped better than last year: new boots, polar buff scarves, and of course our car and all of its “winter equipment”: scraper, brush, spade, frost-proof window liquid, winter tires and winter windshields. this makes winter bearable and even agreeable: nice clean snow (for now) and beautiful sunlight.

liquids and gels

we hope you all had a good new years eve. and of course all the best wishes for 2007! we spent our christmas holiday in belgium and are back in montreal since last sunday. no liquids or gels were allowed on the plane, but i was lucky to have natural fat in my hair (i couldn't wash my hair for 5 days because of some stitches on my head). this is me on the picture, together with 'professionele afscheidsnemer' tingel.
