poutine

today was the day we had our first poutine. poutine is the famous french fries, cheese, and gravy dish that is a favorite in québec. poutine is almost sacred. ideally you have to eat it when you're hungry after a night out. we were well prepared: a date was set with jolaine and sébastien to go to la tulipe. they have a weekly night called "hasbeen wannabe" (basically it's a night where people go wild on indie rock from interpol, the killers and the arcade fire). the main event (la poutine) took place in the rapido and it was excellent. we took a regular poutine, but now we're ready for the next level (poutine au poulet, au foie gras etc...).
